11:00am- Explore the Duke City History!

Know about the history of Albuquerque at The Albuquerque Museum of Art & History. The museum features the history of Albuquerque from pre-Spanish era through the Civil War to present-day through artifacts and other exhibitions. It has a great collection of cultural and history items and exhibits from the past 400 years.

12:00pm- American International Rattlesnake Museum!

Visit the American International Rattlesnake Museum that educates visitors about the rattlesnakes and other reptiles from all over the world. Get an up-close look of the snake species at this museum. One of the rare specimens to check is an albino western diamondback. Videos are played to provide information on these enigmatic creatures.

Head over to the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science that features the dinosaur skeletons, gems and stones, time travel simulation rides and the role of the Duke City in the computer age. The Altair 8800, the first personal computer was made and sold in ABQ. The museum features all facets of New Mexico natural history.

3:00pm- Fun time!

Head over to the ABQ Bio-Park Zoo that has more than 250 species of animals in their natural habitat, including elephants, zebras, polar bears, sea lions, seals, tamarins, orangutans, koalas, jaguars, mountain lions, and more. Feed the animals, go nose-to-nose with polar bear, meet the lions, get an up close with giraffe and other animals at this spot!
