New Mexico Rail Runner Express offers commuter rail service that links Albuquerque to Santa Fe and several other small communities south and north. It stops at Rio Brava Blvd (south valley), Alvarado Transportation Center (downtown), and Paseo del Norte (north valley/Los Ranchos). A day pass may cost $5-$9. Get the ticket from the ticket agent on the train, or get it online.
